GUARD General Member Meeting May 5th

GUARD will have a general member meeting on Thursday, May 5th at Lil Mexican Restaurant at Terri Trail on FM 969. Meet your neighbors at 6:30pm, meeting starts at 7:00pm. Lil Mexican is located about 0.5 miles from the western Bastrop County line.

Please come by and get an update from members about Say No to CTA activities. Find out what you can do to help stop CTA and EcoMerge Green Corporate Centers from landing their development on the banks of the river along two farm to market roads.

Join like minded county residents who prefer not to see county tax dollars plowed back into an ill conceived private development.

Although this planned development is already 6 months behind schedule, it’s not over. Our continued pressure on our county government, the developers, the planned site’s current land owners, the Army Corps of Engineers, and TCEQ to hold public hearings, conduct federally sanctioned environmental studies, and listen to our concerns is needed. We need your help to do that.

Please join us.
